“It’s a Wrap!” Holidays 2024 Décor Project

A composite image of five different colorful illustrations in blues, greens and oranges.

For the holiday season, we invited our 2024 Heritage Month Artist Collaborators to design artwork for festive wrapping paper to help us decorate the halls of our main building with gift-inspired holiday installations. The artworks explore their personal interpretations of the holidays as well as themes examined in our current exhibition, The Time is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure.

We welcome you to come experience all season long the exhibition, the holidays, and the artwork produced by our Heritage Month Artist Collaborators.

We also invite you to come revel in the season at our “’It’s a Wrap! Holiday Celebration,” a special Friday Night Lounge scheduled for December 13.

See below for more information about our Heritage Month Artist Collaborators, their inspiration for their individual artworks, and the project’s lead fabricator.
